Killarney U18.5 - Pan Munster Round 4 vs Kanturk - Kanturk 25 Killarney 15

After successive wins vs Tralee and Killorglin, this was a disappointing outing.

Kanturk opened scored a try early and then added a second with fewer than 10 minutes gone.  When Kanturk added a penalty, we were faced with a 15 point deficit that we were ultimately unable to claw back

We finally broke through when David Courtney finished off a good passing move. But Kanturk added another penalty before half time to lead 18-5 at the break

Killarney started the second half much better and forced Kanturk into a poor clearance kick which was fielded by Shane Morrissey, who found Alex Sheahan in support. Alex was scragged short of the line but Gearóid Sugrue was on hand to take the offload and crash over.  With the conversion unsuccessful, we trailed by 18-10, but were back in the game.

Kanturk scored their third try to open up a 25-10 lead, a third Killarney try scored by Mark Kennelly reduced the deficit but we were unable to close the gap.
