Ryan McCarthy, a 1st Year secondary school student has entered the Young Scientist of the year competition, carrying out a survey on "Parental Attitudes towards Protective Clothing and Injury Prevention in Rugby".

He has requested the assistance of Munster Rugby with the survey, and in turn they are are requesting the assistance of clubs and schools in carrying out the survey.

Killarney RFC are making the survey available to all parents of players in their sections.

All details are confidential, no personal information will be retained by Munster Rugby or transmitted to the author of the survey. Munster branch have discussed this with the IRFU Medical Dept. who are also interested in the results. It would be greatly appreciated if parents could complete the survey by 18 December.
