A slow start in both halves cost the Red team against a RCD outfit who defended mightly.

U14 West Munster League - Killarney Black 29 Killorglin 15

A second win of the season for Black.

Both teams progress to the plate semi finals. Red missed out on the Cup by a set of unusual results.

Killarney RFC 36 Rugbaí Chorca Dhuibhne 26

A slow start here had Killarney 12-0 down early on due to 2 tries, but they fought back to lead 14-12 through tries from Dave Howard and Mark Sheahan - both converted by Brendan Fuller. A penalty late in the 1st half restored RCD's lead to 15-14 at the break. Two further penalties early in the 2nd half saw Corca Dhuibhne push their lead out to 21-14.

Killarney then took over. Three further tries - 1 each from Dave Howard and Ger Moynihan plus a penalty try - and a penalty saw Killarney lead 36-21 going into the final moments. RCD scored a third try late on to leave the final score Killarney 36 Rugbaí Chorca Dhuibhne 26
