It’s not often we have the privilege to welcome the captain of the Irish rugby team Ciara Griffin to Killarney RFC. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect as Ciara put the girls through their final preparations before the Munster league final vs Ennis on Saturday at LIT, Limerick KO at 1pm.
Thanks Ciara for taking the time out, the girls took so much away from the session and it’s always good for anyone to meet their hero’s. The pathway that Ciara took to reach the pinnacle of the game is inspiring and a point which will have resonated to this unique group of Killarney Girls.
We wish Ciara and and her Castleisland Desmonds football team all the best in their All Ireland football semifinal on Saturday. Let’s hope it’s a Kerry 1,2 at the weekend.
