The AGM will be preceded by an EGM to approve the updated constitution and bylaws

Membership Categories:

  • FULL MEMBER - Full members shall be 18 years and over, entitled to hold office, and vote tickets
  • PLAYING MEMBER - same as Full Member except that Playing members can play for the club’s senior teams.
  • JUNIOR MEMBER - Junior members shall be aged up to and including 17 years - junior members are not entitled to vote or hold office.
  • LIFE MEMBERSHIP - Life members shall have the same rights, privileges, and responsibilities as full members.

Any member whose subscription remains unpaid on the 31st October in the current season shall not be entitled to:

  • Vote at a General Meeting.
  • Go forward for a position on any committee of the Club.
  • Propose or support a Full Member for any position in the Club.

In accordance with the club constitution and bylaws, the agenda for the Annual General Meeting shall be:

  • Opening of Meeting
  • Apologies
  • Presentation of Annual Reports
  • Adoption of Annual Reports
  • Presentation of Treasurer's Statement
  • Election of Officers and Management Committee
  • Motions
  • Urgent general business
  • Closure

AGM will be preceded by an EGM to approve adoption of :

Clarifying a number of points regarding club membership: position of trustees; termination of membership; membership of guardians of underage players; trial membership.

Adding the position of Director of Rugby to the Management Committee: The Director of Rugby shall be responsible for the vision, strategic direction and development of rugby in the club, thereby maintaining the continuous development of coaches and players.

To be submitted to the first Management Committee meeting following the AGM:

Policy 4.6 Collecting funds from club members: Clarification that all funds should be handed to the treasurer within 21 days of being collected.

Policy 4.9 Clarification that all coaching teams must be notified to and confirmed by the Management Committee. For insurance reasons, all coaches must be current club members. All underage coaches must be Garda vetted.
